Pini is an accomplished business executive with over 20 years of experience leading change and strategic growth in the healthcare industry. Pini serves as Mor’s CEO since 2003 and under his guidance the company has created over 60 medical startups and expended the Physician’s Research funds division from 70 funds to 700. Pini has worked to create collaborations with partners across disciplines of the healthcare industry in order to drive meaningful innovation and growth for Mor’s portfolio. Over his time at Mor Pini has served as a director and as Chairman of the board of 35 companies.
Prior to joining Mor, Pini founded Bio-Gal, a biotechnology start-up that deals with Multiple Myeloma, where he led the start-up up to the successful merger with XTL, a publicly traded company. Before that he was the CEO of On medical centers, a chain of clinics that treats ED where he opened 70 clinics in 17 countries, employing 400 physicians, initiated the company’s franchise model and launched additional business lines. Pini holds an MBA degree from Johnson & Wales University, Providence Rhode Island.
Dr. Prutchi-Sagiv brings Mor over 20 years of proven management experience. She has led scientific, regulatory, business development and marketing strategies in life science projects from seed and early stage through capital raising and partnership with top tier strategic investors. Dr. Prutchi Sagiv studied Business Administration at Tel Aviv University and holds an M.Sc. in Human Genetics and a Ph.D. in Cell Biology and Immunology from the same University. She acts as a member of the Board of Directors at Bonfix.
Eng. Eyal Aviram Joined Mor Research in 2011 and acts as Mor’s liaison to academia and investors. Eyal has a vast executive experience from Pfizer, VC’s and served as CEO in numbers of Medical Devices companies. Eyal is the COO at CTZ Investments group, which develops various projects in the medical device field. Eyal holds BSc in Industrial engineering.
Adv. Arik Kaufman holds a vast experience in the fields of Bio-Tech, Commercial Law, Corporate-Law and Capital-Markets. Arik has managed complex licensing negotiations, has led capital raising offerings (Private and Public) and private equity issuances, as well as numerous share acquisition transactions. In addition Arik serves as a director in two companies listed in the TASE and in the NASDAQ.
Allen is a registered European, Israeli and Swiss Patent Attorney and is responsible for managing Mor’s Intellectual Property affairs in the field of Medical Devices. He brings to Mor over 10 years of professional experience in the field of Intellectual Property including IP strategy counseling, patent drafting and prosecution as well as in providing patentability opinions. Allen holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Tel Aviv University and an M.Sc. in Electro-Optical Engineering from Ben Gurion University.
Gila holds a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. in Chemistry from Ben Gurion University, a Ph.D in Biophysics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and post-doctoral project at the Weizmann Institute.
Gila worked as a patent attorney in one of the largest patent firms in Israel and in an Israeli boutique patent firm, accumulating over 15 years of experience in intellectual property affairs Gila is also a managing partner in Richter & Shimoni.
Shelly has 20 years of bookkeeping experience in various organizations. Most recently, she spent 14 years fulfilling a complex and sensitive role with Pitango Venture Capital – one of Israel’s largest venture capital groups, with over $2B under management having invested in nearly 200 companies. Prior to joining Pitango, Shelly spent several years at the accounting firm of Shlomo Ziv (BDO International). Shelly completed advanced training courses in bookkeeping and tax advisory studies at the College of Management.
